How to do the L-Sit to Shoulder Stand
Setup: Sit on the floor or parallettes with legs extended straight in front, hands beside hips, arms straight, core engaged.
Movement: Lift hips and legs into an “L” position, then continue raising hips and legs overhead to transition into a shoulder stand. Lower back down under control to starting position.
Standards:
- Legs fully extended throughout
- Controlled transition from L-Sit to shoulder stand
- Arms stable and supporting balance
Focus Points: Engage core and shoulders, control hips and legs, maintain smooth transition, avoid collapsing the spine.
