How to do the The Back Scale
Setup: Stand tall with feet together or hip-width apart. Shift weight onto one leg.
Movement: Hinge at the hips while lifting the free leg straight back. Lower your torso until it is parallel to the floor, forming a straight line from head to heel. Return to standing with control.
Standards:
- Standing leg remains straight or slightly bent
- Torso and raised leg form one straight line
- Controlled balance throughout the movement
Focus Points: Keep hips square, maintain a neutral spine, move slowly and under control.
