How to do the Walking Lunge
Setup: Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, hands on hips or holding weights, core engaged.
Movement: Step forward with one leg, lowering the back knee toward the floor into a lunge. Push through the front heel to step forward with the other leg, continuing in a walking motion.
Standards:
- Front knee tracks over ankle
- Back knee lowers close to floor without touching
- Torso remains upright
Focus Points: Engage glutes and quads, maintain balance, control each step, avoid leaning forward or letting front knee collapse inward.
